COSMETIC TATTOOING

Cosmetic tattooing, also known as permanent makeup, is a technique that involves depositing pigments into the dermal layer of the skin to enhance or mimic the appearance of makeup. It is commonly used to enhance eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips, providing long-lasting results that can save time and effort in daily beauty routines. By carefully implanting pigments using specialized tools, we can create natural-looking results that can define and shape facial features, correct asymmetry, or add color to areas where makeup is typically applied. Cosmetic tattooing offers a semi-permanent solution that can last for several years, with touch-ups needed periodically to maintain the desired look.

Tattooing Pre and AfterCare

PRE APPOINTMENT INFO

The day before your appointment please give your eyebrows a light exfoliation as this allows for better pigment retention.

The day of your appointment avoid exercise completely. Please arrive makeup free on the forehead area. Do not wear lash extensions if getting eyeliner.

Please note in the treatment room we will only allow yourself to enter, so please arrive solo. We also have a no children policy in place.

The following should be strictly avoided 2 days prior to your appointment:

  • All caffeine including energy drinks, coffee, tea, pre workouts

  • Alcohol

  • Aspirin / Ibuprofen

  • Spices that thin the blood eg. chilli

  • Facial waxing

  • Brow tinting

The following should be strictly avoided 7 days prior to your appointment:

  • Fish Oils

  • All Blood Thinners

  • Facials and Peels

The following should be strictly avoided 2 weeks prior to your appointment:

  • Heavy Sun Exposure

  • Solarium Tanning

  • Botox (if brow tattooing)

AFTERCARE

Aftercare instructions will be provided to you on the day of your appointment. Aftercare consists of following detailing instructions for 2 weeks following your procedure.

Please make sure you do not book your appointment when you have any events or holidays for two weeks following your procedure as you cannot wear makeup on the treatment area tattooed, you cannot be in the sun, and you cannot wet the area or exercise for 2 weeks.

True results are not revealed until 4-6 weeks of the healing process.
